Regional Alliance for Circular Electronics in Central Asia

The Alliance was established by the Center "Cooperation for Sustainable Development", a non-profit organization, with the support of the United Nations Environment Program.

WHAT IS THE ALLIANCE?

The Alliance is a voluntary partnership of manufacturers, importers of electronic and electrical equipment, e-waste recyclers and other stakeholders, established by the non-profit organization The Center "Cooperation for Sustainable Development’ with the support of the UN Environment Programme, acting on the basis of the Declaration adopted on February 8, 2024 in Bishkek within the framework of the Central Asian Forum on e-waste "Dialogue for Progress and Cooperation".

Main goal OF THE ALLIANCE

To introduce and promote circular economy principles in the electronics sector in Central Asia through the joint efforts of producers and importers of electronic and electrical equipment, e-waste collectors and recyclers, and other stakeholders.
