The Central Asian E-Waste Forum was attended by 75 people, including representatives of authorized environmental protection authorities, statisticians, the business community and non-governmental organizations from all Central Asian countries, as well as leading experts in the field of e-waste management.
During the Forum, global trends in e-waste management, problems and achievements of Central Asian countries in this area, principles of circular electronics, collection and recycling of e-waste, as well as the responsibility of manufacturers and importers were considered.
Within the framework of the Forum, recommendations were prepared on improving e-waste collection and recycling systems at both the national and regional levels, which were submitted to the relevant authorized bodies.
